Groo has been separated from Chakaal, thank goodness, but goes looking for her. Thankfully Rufferto points him in the wrong direction and Groo ends up at a shipyard. Said shipyard is the headquarters of a fleet setting out to conquer a rival country. Two spies spy Groo and know the fleet is doomed. They send a message to their country, advising their own fleet to set sail and wipe out the remnants of the enemy fleet.
Only as we all know, when Rufferto is with Groo on a ship, it doesn’t sink. So when the two armadas meet, things aren’t as either side expect. Groo ends up jumping from ship to ship, attacking everybody, while Rufferto jumps after him trying to be with him. Rufferto ends up on random ships, Groo ends up on random ships and when the two aren’t in conjunction, the ship sinks. Groo ends up sinking every single ship in both armadas and he and Rufferto survive on a little dingy as a massive storm moves in and puts the final kabosh on everything.
All I can say is thank goodness Chakaal
is gone. The following page shows that for sure. It is also why I
love Groo so much, he’s so simple :-)
