Miscellaneous Posts:

Personal:

The month started out very well with the Pumpkinius Festivalus. That really helped set the tone for the whole month. I needed it though.

Slowboy 2.0 tortured us all with his continued presence until about the middle of the month. It was getting to the point where the guy he was working with told the office manager he'd look for work elsewhere if they kept him with Slowboy2. But now he's gone so we don't have to worry about him. Now we can just tell stories and let the healing begin.

We got our Subaru undercoated. We do that each year to help prevent rust, as that's a huge issue here in New England. I had a couple of rain days, but a single day off didn't make me feel any less tired. It was nice not to work those days, but it wasn't restorative like I had hoped it might be.

I can't nail it all down, but the month just "felt" busy the entire time. I was either tired or we were doing things. Blogging 6 days a week definitely contributed to that feeling.

Cover Love:

Mrs Pollifax Unveiled was the final book in the series and I love this style of cover. It was hard to choose though, as there were several covers that I thought might deserve this spot. But being the last book, that helped push Mrs Pollifax over the finish line!

Plans for Next Month:

First up, there will be a reblog announcement for the Barbara Cartland buddy read tomorrow. All the details will be in the post.

Second, after posting 6 days a week in October, I've decided to scale back and do the whole 5 days a week instead. Wednesday and Saturdays will remain open and I'll not post then. It was too much in October and I know what I need to do now.

Third, I will have my annual Thanksgiving post, I'm planning on reviewing the latest Minions Movie (Minions & Monsters) and I'm going to be participating in Shelf Control the first Friday of each month until year's end. It will be business as usual, just extra busy.
